Washington DC

I went to DC this weekend! It was really fun, we walked around and checked out the smithsonian museums, the white house. T night we went to see the Jeffereson monuments, lincoln memorial, washington memorial, the king memorial, and the roosevelt memorial. It was so fun at night its like you could feel the spirits there. It was really windy and it was storming it was so cool! However, I would suggest taking the bus if you ever go there because you need a permit to park about everywhere and the fines for tickets are immoral. I guess the weekends arent too crazy at dc we saw one protestor about 100 yards from the whitehouse gates. I saw snipers on the whitehouse roof, its just so cool and beautiful to seee all of these things in person. I would highly suggest going to DC for vacation it is so beautiful!
